Addict with a capital A
Hi ya'll! So, right....this is my first post. I'm sitting here at my desk at work and just cannot focus at all because my brain wants to think about choreography rather than reports, maps and plant identification. I've been dancing the belly groove since my first class in January 2008, but for ages before then I'd always just danced for fun, but more in a hippy-dippy-earth-goddess-type fashion.
Based in Shropshire, England, I'm a dual American-Brit citizen, originally from KY. I am the epitome of that silly 80's song 'All She Wants to Do is Dance', because anymore, it's true...well that and also do workouts that will help my bellydancing muscles. I feel myself growing and going through a pattern of hormonal waxing and waining every day. My husband is a good man and not only supports my habit, but helps me with my costume, music, travel and everything. After Raqs Britannia, I have this strong desire to fly to California and go sit in Suhaila's garden until she either has to kill me or train me! So howdy-do and all that! I'll be around because I am interested in everything bellydance and would like to get to know you all better. I'm on Tribe.net too (HollyBelly) in case any of ya know me from there.
