Default Wings of Isis

I am looking to sell a gold pair of Wings of Isis that I have. They are brand new and never used. I bought them earlier this summer but they ended up being to small for me, but they would be perfect for a shorter dancer or possibly even a child dancer. I am 5'9 and the wings span out enough to just fit me but with no space to move them.

I bought them for $110 but am asking only $80 for this brand new pair.

I'll try to get some pictures of them later.

Default Isis Wings

Inanna,

I have been looking for a gold pair of isis wings. Can you tell me if they are organza or lame.

Thank You,

Amarise

Amarise:

I believe they are lame (I have a horrible habit of mixing up lame and organza for some reason )

Each wing spans about 55 inches across.

And here are a couple of pictures of them (one of the whole thing and one is a close up of the material). I'm not much of a photographer though unfortunatly...sorry!

Default Isis wings

Hi Inanna,

Thanks for your reply. It does look like they are lame. If they were organza, they would be somewhat see thorugh...like stiff chiffon. Lame is is more metallic and crunchy and not see through.

I need an organza pair so I will need to pass on these. But thank you.

Hi!
Do you have a picture yet? I am interested in getting some wings, and was considering gold as a color. So $80 would be great!
: D
I am 5' 5", do you think they would fit?

Where did you purchase them from? Are they Audrena's??

Yes, they do have a carry-bag.

They were purchased at the MN Ren Festival, I had a friend buy them for me, so I never had a chance to try them on before buying them, which is how they ended up to small. Being 5'5 I think they could fit you. You could always get some material or a sheet or something and measure off the wingspan (which is 55 inches across for each wing) and hold it to your shoulder and see if that gives you enough room to move around with (does that make sense?)

Okay, I'll try that and see what 55" feels like.

Back soon...

Does that include the "stick" part, or is that up to where you hold the stick?
I'm assuming it includes the stick....so total measurement across...right?

I measured from end to end, so it includes the stick.

I hope it works for you! I would love these wings to go to a good home where they will get some use! They are to pretty to be sitting in my closet
