Exactly. There are consequences to every action or non-action one takes in life. I like to know what these are, both good and bad. I also don't like surprises...

I know exactly what you guys mean. I took a LONG time to plan out my tattoos and ask around about what other people experienced when they got them. Of course, what I found was that no two people seemed to have the same experience; while some people had no problem, like myself, some nearly passed out from the pain. this was true of some people with their piercings as well, which was interesting, since I barely felt my navel piercing, (the clamps hurt more than the needle that pierced my flesh!) and I didn't feel my tongue at all. I guess I am on the luck side of things where these things are concerned, eh?

I tend to pick mine on recurring themes. Dragons, i like big swoopy powerful stuff. Piercings, im more lax on. If i don't like it, i heal quick so it goes away awfully fast. in fact, i tend to be more impulsive toward needles and stuff just because I heal quick and if i don't like it, it'll come out and be sealed up the next day. sometimes within 12 hours if its relatively fresh\

So is there anything in particular you're planning on getting, Jenny, or is it just the random thought that you might eventually get something somewhere?

Default Piercings and other jewelry

You know as a new pierce, you need to have a standard bars to put in it. Normally don't go straight for claw or talons. Let the bars stay in ur fresh pierce first then you can change to whatever you want after the next month.

Smile Body Piercings and jewelry on male dancers

Hello ShiroiOji, my name is Tim,but on here I go by Prince Ali Baba. I think belly button rings are pretty cool on male belly dancers. I haven't had any belly dance training as of yet,but I've done some local folk dance classes. I considered getting my belly button pierced, but I didn't want to take the chance of getting an infection. I'm also afraid of being left with scar tissue. I'm extra sensitive to pain,so I've considered buying what's called nonpiercing jewelry which clip on like clip on earrings. A gold colored hoop,if available as a clip on, I'd like to get for my belly button. I also considered getting my nipples pierced, but again I think I'll play it save and get clipons. Then I thought about having chains connecting the 3 hoops. Don't know if chains going from the nips to the belly button would be appropriate for belly dancing since I thought of that as more of a going with a goth boy outfit.

I am currently making a sterling silver frenum ring which will be assayed to ensure it's quality and that there is no nickel in there in preparation for a planned piercing.

Default Necklace

I also think a necklace would go well with a male belly dancer's costume. An open Aladdin style vest without a shirt underneath would be my ideal costume to be wearing a necklace. Then with clipon belly button ring and maybe a pair of clipon nipple rings.
