It is who I am and there for all to see. But.... you are right. I forget that the word "gay" is considered by many to be a derogatory term. I have some people that I love very much who are gay and it usually does not occur to me that it is a bad thing to say about someone.

Awww don't twist it...no one is shy of the word "gay" any more. Nor do I think being gay is unnatural or wrong. Believe me I have more reason to be totally at home with gay people than you have reason to know so don't try to lay that on me.

What I am saying is ....discuss a dancer's dancing not their private business and I think you know that full well.

You passed on hear -say about someone's private life when you had no business to do so .

In this forum, I see a lot of "hearsay".... any reason why you are choosing me to lay this on instead of choosing any other person who has indulged in it? As far as discussing a dancer's private business, we ALL do, the minute we say anything about them that is not connected to dance, so get over yourself. I've about had it with your holier than thou attitude. Now, I expect that there will be a fresh rash of nasty, little vicious comments from the same 4 or 5 people out of the hundreds who post here who always manage to chime in, so do your worst. I stated that you were correct and that I should not have spread what you see as gossip and what I saw as a comment about the nature of his dancing. I don't find gay to be a dirty word and I don't think there is a thing twisted about that.

Your post read as you trying to infer that I was hinting it was something to be ashamed of in being gay and you know very well I was disapproving of your gossipy statement. Never mind sayng other people are being vicious..passing on gossip can be vicious. I keep having to reiterate my objection to your bringing up a dancer's private business. And I don't see that as nasty to point that out. .So it's holier than thou to remind you of that..mmmmmmm Not holier I was just so sad to see someone discussing another dancers private life. How would you like it?
I see people putting forward their point of view here on this forum and managing very well to avoid the personal lives of dancers just sticking to what matters. let that be an end of it.

Okay back to the topic of Tito! I ran across these clips from Gilded Serpents:
YouTube - Gilded Serpent presents Tito Teaching

YouTube - Gilded Serpent presents Tito Speaks

This clip shows our very own Mark B as a panelist!

YouTube - Gilded Serpent presents Tito Performs at IBCC

Franky, I don't care about the back and forth analysis of Tito and his place in the world of Oriental dancing...
these clips show a vibrant human being, fearless entertainer and powerful performer! For me it's not about what I think when he dances...but what I FEEL!!!!

HELLO CHURCH! CAN I HAVE AN AMEN?! When all is said and done, we are artists and entertainers. When all is said and done, people want to be moved and entertained. When this no longer happens, it means we have ceased to do our jobs and the public will decide for themselves where to spend their time, attention and money. As always, ultimately the ball is in their court.
