Hungary's (only?) male bellydancer :)

YouTube - Zoltán Seres- Pharao Dance Studio

I have seen Zoltán on a bellydance festival last year, that was the first time I saw a male bellydancer live. First i could just giggle

At the end of his performance he got more applause than any of the girls

He was actually dancing better than some of the ladies.

He started his career as a salsa teacher and is now teaching bellydance too.

Not bad from what I was able to see - I'm sitting on top of a 100 Gigabit backbone connection and STILL have problems with YouTube videos - so I was able to only watch a few seconds.

I got to know Zoltan personally last year. I visited his studio in Budapest (a Hungarian friend of mine is his student and she took me with her) and I participated the lesson. He dances a fusion style, more towards American Cabaret. He is a very nice person and nice teacher and although I didn't understand a single word of what he was telling (lesson in Hungarian), his lesson was fun. He is also a nice dancer and entertainer. He wanted to organize some workshops with me, but we couldn't really communicate, because he speaks only Hungarian and I don't speak a word of it

His students adore him, because he is a really nice guy and fun teacher. Also his studio is a very beautiful place, nice decorated, in a suburb of Budapest (a whole house, not just an apartment).

I enjoyed his dancing although I wish he was dancing to more traditional music. This techno Arabic stuff usually makes me wanna hurl...
