I'm more yer soup in a basket woman but it HAS to be better than Butlins and really I haven't got anything against dart players.

Anyway having just returned from Blackpool where 3 slightly inebriated young Scotsmen threw themselves at our feet at 2am and the hotel porter had trouble trying to explain to an old Scotsman that the clue that their bar was closed was that the place was in total darkness and deserted. Said Scot was still asleep in the foyer as I went down to breakfast next morning.

Yup Frimley park sounds quite classy!

I think we should book our charra (bus) for next year and start organising it now. It sounds like a Northern 'Do' (party) down South so we should be ok!

PS I still want to detour past the RSS summer school.

I'm imagining this is going to be like the St Trinians old girls' bus with crates of brown ale strapped to the roof. I think you should circle the RSS Summer School and treat them to several verses of Maggie May. I can bring my whippet to deposit a little present on the doorstep whilst I lob a few handfuls of jellied eels at the windows.

I am going to start practising my moonies in preparation.

Funny you should mention the St Trinians... one lighting designer said to me that working with my dance company was like working with the St Trinians of MED!

Nah you don't resemble Alistair Sim in the slightest.
If he'd met me, Beryl Reid as the dodgy dipso maths teacher might have sprang to mind
