some of you know that I left my original teacher after disagreement. I was in the car with a friend who still goes to my old teacher on our way back from a workshop when she asked me when her teacher's hafla was. i replied that I didn't know and how come she didn't know when it was her teacher organising it.
well she said I think it's on the 17th May, I thnik it's £17 and that includes some kind of workshop. When I asked who was giving the workshop she replied that she didn't know, as she hadn't seen the flyer that was being passed round to some of the class. Priceless!! |

We have classes around here where the students learn about nothing from teachers..other students with other contacts have to slip the info around in the changing room. AND we have one teacher ( the real thing don't ya know from over there) who rips up ceremoniously any info on haflas and workshops not of her own. But then we have another who threatens her students if they dare to mention going to other teachers and ..oooo I daren't go on! ![]() |

Maybe she is just really dissorganised? Or maybe she is trying to freeze this student out - I'd hate to think that is the case, but I've had it done to me before, so I know it does happen.
Jenc I guess you're in the best position to guess as you used to have lessons with her. If that is the case, then you are well out of it! I do find the belly dance politics very tiresome at times ![]()
