My approach is somewhat difference.
Their induction to the wonderful world of bellydance doesn't come with a free drink, it comes free. Then they can't complain they didn't know what they were in for before signing up for an 8 week block of payments . ![]() |

Come on everyone... you must know how marketing works by now!!
I have seen the most fantastic marketing and play on words for all sorts of stuff. What do you expect them to write? they are trying to advertise themselves to new people who do not know any different. I have seen far worse... really, some people have a lot of front when it comes to twisting the truth. |

[quote=adiemus;70909]I'm still wondering how I can develop a bellydance self-defense training programme...
'Hah! Stop there or I'll zill you?' 'You boy! Halt or you'll shimmy until your eyeballs fall out' 'Beware: hipscarf in hot pursuit' I can see it now - self defense: the gentle art of scarf tangling Hip scarves: how to subdue your oponent with a nonchalant flick of the hip! I'm sure there's a future in it...[/QUO worryingly enough my sensei did once use a set of zills as a makeshift throwing weapon, the hip scarf could be do damage if flicked at eyes....I'm going to stop now. As for the marketing thing-yes everyone trys to portray themselves in a positve light, though its to be hoped that they can back their claims up. |

Totally deluded belly dancer seeks to pass on her dubious skills. Her dancing somewhat resembles that done by folks in the Middle East. nah...don't think I'll tell the truth behind my figures of eight.... then again it could be worse New Dance Teacher in town.... She comes highly recommended by the well bladdered Turkish Cypriot lad from Kent who saw her bop around the kebab shop last saturday to Tarkan. Once patted a camel at Whipsnade Likes hummous and pitta bread and has one of those nice Moroccan lamps in her bedroom Favourite film when little was Disney's Aladdin Has never looked back. |
