ooops sorry I was replying to Caro's post and just read yours. All I can say is the first 2 times we stayed there the rooms were fine but the last 2 have not. You may be lucky and the owner and staff are really nice as I said.

it's one of the best, fun, well organized festivals i've ever been too, so i'm glad to be going back!!! even though it's quite the hike for me!

getting a train tomorrow morning and traveling up with beatrice (she's driving from london, thank you thank you), friday afternoon (well, evening by the time we get there i'm sure)

and really looking forward to teaching, dancing, hanging out. and maybe some shopping (though i shouldnt, i left all my dance money in cairo!), but i got some cds that i love but went bust, so need replacement and i'm sure aladin's cave will have 'em all.

I don't think there can be anywhere in Shipley as bad as that Butlins was! I still have nightmares Got my money back from Butlins on the B&B we evacuated to though.
