Hope this is right spot for this?

I'll be hosting Sara Farouk in Stoke on Trent on Sunday April 27th.

It's a 3hour workshop (1pm-4pm)

Workshop is titled
'Combining the feel of the dance with modern technique through a knowledge of the music & lyrics, we will invest our dancing with a greater knowledge of its roots’.

Or if you prefer looking at how the folkloric steps have influenced the modern style, focusing on technique and interpretation.

If anyone would like to book or would like more info drop me a message here or email stokebellydance@yahoo.co.uk

Do you know if Sara is going to be back for long and what her movements are going to be? If she's coming anywhere near London I would love to know about it!!

Sara is at JoY this weekend and if you miss her this year, I am sure she will be back next.
Why not host her and get someone in your are to do so?
I can always put you in touch and so can Tracey on this forum.

Sara's performing in London on 19 April, in aid of the Just Because charity, I don't know if she's also doing workshops.

Thanks ladies!

19th April is no good for lots of reasons - I'm in Cairo, but if I wasn't, it's Saqarah night that night (good luck Nafiseh by the way, I'll be there in spirit!) and while I'd love to make it to JoY one year, this year is not it!

I had my very first ever lesson with Sara, I don't think I realised how lucky I had been at the time!

I'm performing at Saqarah Haflah this Saturday, and then I'll be performing at Planet Egypt at the end of May--if there are any of you out there in webland who'll be attending, I'd love to meet you!
