Ranya, were you asking about the pronunciation of "sew"? Am I the first to tell you it rhymes with "low"? Do you also think it makes no sense at all to write it with an e? Do you agree with me the English have to change their spelling to make it more logical?

Did you know I regard cheese as a kind of religious obligation? Did you know that everyone from the Netherlands I have ever met has been highly excited to hear me say it 'how-da'? Would any of you like my job driving large heavy vehicles in snowstorms in St. Paul? Will someone please buy me a ticket home to Hawai'i, some goat cheese, and maybe a life?

Will someone tell me why you're all whinging about the chill while I'm out here in the 27 degree sun? And why my legs are STILL pasty white? And why I don't really like gouda however you spell it? And why the french persist in calling camembert camembert with a 'T'?

Brea, don't you know Dutch is quite difficult to pronounce for foreigners? So we always get excited when foreigners put some effort in trying to pronounce it right? And didn't you know I love to see those large vehicles on Discovery channel?

Kutenurse, maybe the rest of the US doesn't want your snow storms?

Adiemus, why aren't we allowed to whine about the cold while you have lovely weather? And what is wrong with white? And can't you imagine how frustrating it is that I can pronounce almost all French words pretty well just by remembering a few pronunciation rules, even though I only know very little French and only had lessons for 3 years, but I'm already learning English for 12 years now and I can still be completely wrong pronunciation-wise if I see a word written down for the first time?
