Did you know that Peter Jackson is now producing the two-part film the Hobbit? Is anyone else excited about the Wee Free Men being made into a film? Mya, didn't you know Orlando Bloom was made out of wood? Don't you all know that I wish I still had photos of elfboy to show you?
Did you know that LOTR was something that you really should not have missed? Did you know it is a classic? Did you know that, although the Bakshi animated versions were terrible, a lot was directly lifted from it, like Gollum? Does anyone else have difficulty in believing CGI is real, or better than the old version of special effects? Does anyone miss the really good shows, like Firefly, Highlander, Quantum Leap, or MacGyver? Whatever happend to that kind of television, anyway?

Did anyone here actually read the Lotr books? Would I watch the movie with different eyes had I not read LOTR, Hobbit and Silmarillion while still in school, when it was hard to imagine a movie made of THAT?
Isnt it great ther are making Hobbit?

Do you know the LOTR book I read bored me silly but I managed to sit through the movies despite great impatience with Frodo's whining? Do you also know that I didn't understand somethings in the movie until I saw the extended version, which finally made a bit of sense? Why was I bored by LOTR? Example: in book one they wandered off the road, ran into some guy who spouted bad poetry, spent too long hanging out with him, went on their way and ended up right back where they'd started, ya know? Does that make me a philistine? An literary anarchist? Out of step with my generation, who wrote, "Frodo lives" on the blackboard every single morning in 7th grade history? Has my rant now bored everyone as much as Frodo bored me?

*LoL Shanazel*
You are not fantasy fan, are you? Did you know that when I read the book no-one else around heard of Lotr, apart from friend that borrowed me her precious book? Did you know it was weird to read something so very different and be considered freak for talking about it? Isnt it wonderful that everyone is so different and it makes this world so much brighter?

Weren't we talking about underworlds on the fantasy creatures thread? What fantasy creature do you think you'd morph into if you were going to morph? Would I be one of the housecleaning variety of brownies? No? Do I hear everyone laughing hysterically? Can you think of a sillier question to ask? See what happens to me when I am playing on the forum at 2:05 am?

Do I think I'd be a warrior queen or a Nac Mac Feegle? Isn't there something very similar in those choices?
