Brea, Am I the only one who imagined Legolas looking like Orlando Bloom after reading the book? Wasnt Viggo good in Hidalgo as well? Who would make perfect Aragorn?

Is the game still running, or am I too late? Is anyone else disappointed that "The Hobbit" wasn't part of Peter Jackson's Tolkien opus?

Am I the only one that thinks Mila Jovovich (sp?) would have made a better Arwyn than Liv Tyler?

And speaking of Viggo Mortenson, has anyone here read C.S. Friedman's Coldfire Trilogy? Am I crazy to think that he'd be the perfect Gerald Tarrant if they ever get off their blockbuster butts and make a movie out of it?

Does LOTR still count as popular NOW? Is it just me, or has Peter Jackson fallen off the map now that his "opus" is available in a boxed set? Anybody remember how bad the animated versions of said trilogy were back in the 80s?

Has anyone seen The Golden Compass? Do you know I loved it and went right out to read all three of the books, which were even better than the movie?
