Shanazel, should I bring my campfire pot in which to make cowboy coffee? Do you think my SUV will make it through the blizzard to come pick you and the Scrabble board up and we can drive someplace warm? Or perhaps I could saddle up the horses and come get you, do you ride? Will you be ready for me in about 5 months?
Q-Tip, if you can't get to the dentist tonight, do you think perhaps you should have a glass of wine? |

Do you need to talk of fires and needing to warm up and everything when it's 33 degrees celcius here and 100% humidity? Can I have your wine Q-tip?

Do you mind, Bronnie dear, if we go ahead and talk about fires since it is about 5 degrees Farenheit here with a bunch of snow on the ground? Gilana, I will go riding with you and the Scrabble board to a wonderful spot in the mountains five months hence, but will you promise to bring me the gentlest horse you can find and give her a anti-anxiety pill before we set out? (Can you guess it has been a few years since I have been riding?)

do you mind if I wear my bikini and sip on pink gin then? And would it be OK if I passed on the horse thing, only they do seem somewhat unpredictable and did you know I never went through the pony club phase when I were a wee girlie?

Why on earth not, Bronnie? Were you frightened by a Shetland pony when you were a child? Do you suppose I don't drink pink gin because I was frightened by a martini when I was in grad school?

Not a shetland pony, Shanazel, but a very large, what was it? a clydesdale? a hack?
Do you think that's enough of a reason to want to drink whenever I think of horses? apart from them moving around unpredictably? and being so far off the ground? Will someone come on over here and hold my hand, I'm feeling all a-quiver?
