Why couldnt things be more simple and I could do anything I wanted anytime I wanted too. Why do I have so many things to do today that I will not be able to attend Brea's performance???

Karena, what would I do without you? Caster sugar is probably what we call extra fine granulated sugar in the US, true? Do you and Bronnie know how sweet you are to answer my culinary questions?

What on earth does hottentotten etc. mean? And having learned to speak and spell in a language like that, is there any reason you couldn't learn to speak English in a New Yawk minute?

Doesn't hottentotten refer to an African tribe?

Why does everyone want to know what hottentotten means anyways?

Intellectual curiosity? Morbid interest? A desire to learn new words and amaze one's friend's with one's Dutch eruditeness? Or is it erudicity? Or some even weirder English verbal aberation?

Shall we all eschew grandeloquence and obfuscation?

Did you ever read my friend's poem 'Anarchists Stole My Chocolate Mousse'?

I don't think I've ever heard of it, have I?
Does Shanazel go to bed reading Roget's Thesaurus to help her sleep?
Where did she get all those silly words?
Can anyone beat her for blethering?

Karena, don't you think the others would permanently ignore my post if I would have used hottentottensoldatententententoonstellingskaartjes verkopersvakbondskantoor?

Did you all know that hottentot actually is a kind of insulting word Dutch colonists used to describe the Khoihoi tribe? Because the Khoihoi have a click language and it sounded like stuttering to them? And apparently hottentot means stutterer in some old Dutch dialect?

Kutenurse, don't you like foreign languages?

Did you know that hotentot is also an insult in slovak and that is why I know it was used by colonialists to describe a african tribe?
But did you also know that in Slovakia we think that hotentot is the real name of the tribe so I am thankful now to Moon for explaining ?

What makes you think Roget's Thesaurus would put me to sleep? Don't you know I find it fascinating? Shall I start a reading circle where we all sit around reading stirring passages from Roget while sipping white wine in front of a crackling fire with ornamental cats posed on individual laps? Would anyone who thinks they can match me for blethering like to play a game or twenty of Scrabble?
