HOW DID YOU KNOW I LOVE EXPENSIVE CHOCOLATE????? Once a long time ago, I sponsored Cassandra. We talked about expensive chocolate for awhile and then went and got some. She has a great memory. About 3 years later I attended a workshop where she was teaching, maybe a hundred people. She saw me out in the crowd and said, "Hi A'isha. If I had known you were coming, I would have brought you some expensive chocolate." I was astounded that she remembered a little thing like that! Regards, A'isha, who is drinking coffee in her new, "Belly dancer" mug that one of her friends gave her for Christmas. Pick your's up at Danza oriental y danza arabe. La danza del vientre : shows, talleres y cursos de musica arabe. and I only WISH they would give me good stuff for advertising for them. |

I usually only drink coffee on weekends, but I love the smell. Kharmine sent me some fancy coffee beans recently and I bought a grinder to use them. How have I lived al these years without grinding my own coffee? Who needs scented candles when you can grind coffee?
I have to be careful about drinking coffee that is already made when I come downstairs in the morning, though. Recently I poured myself a cup and sat down to read the paper. My son came downstairs just as I took the first sip, and yelled, "Mom! Don't do it!" I asked why and he said, "I made the coffee this morning." I immediately turned the cup over to him and shuddered at my narrow escape. Small dogs could walk across the coffee my son makes. The caffeine content is sufficient to launch rockets. You could replace creosote with this stuff and telephone poles would last forever. The consistency is suitable for tarring roads. It is not for sissies. |

Sounds like my kind of coffee. Send it over to my house, I'll drink it. I'm no coffee-wuss. I think that one of the pre-requisites for permanent residency in Costa Rica is *Must love coffee*. The stuff grows everywhere around here. No mocha-latte-frenchvanilla-cappucino-mint-chocolate-frapuccino-lacedwithBailey's for me. Just give it to me black and 5 times a day, baby.

![]() Thank you for sharing that story about your friend, Cassandra. She sounds special, because a special friend remembers the small things that matter to us, as well as the big things. *hugs* ![]() My best friend from high school is a huge coffee lover; she drinks several cups a day! When my family and I lived in the same neighborhood as my friend, I'd walk over to her house, and we'd drink coffee together and have a wonderful time. ![]() |

Mmmmm Anyone for coffee?
How do you girls make your coffee? I prefer making coffee in a geyser type coffee-maker on the stove! Unfortunatly at the moment Im stuck with a plunger... Next thing I wanna invest coffee-wise is milk frother! The hand-held thingie with batteries...

We have one of those automatic drip coffee makers. When we go camping, we have an old fashioned percolator that we use on the Coleman stove if we are car camping or on the backpacking stove if we are too far back in to carry the campstove. I have also drunk cowboy coffee, which is ground coffee thrown into a pot, boiled to hell, with an egg added to settle the grounds. Not as bad as you might think, especially if you are freezing to death and your horse refuses to cuddle up with you for heat.

Dear Gang,
I have had a camp coffee pot, a Gevalia automatic drip, an old fashioned electric percolator, a stainless steel stop top percolator, a French press and probably a few others along the way. for many years now I have ground my own coffee and use a melita drip thingy on top of a good sized thermos. my coffee get made in the A.M. and if there is any left, still tastes fresh by 1 PM. I will NEVER go back to coffee pots. Regards, A'isha |
