I like trees also. At the race my son was at this past Saturday, we parked in a church parking lot in the country and there was the most unusual shaped tree. It was really unique and I almost took a picture of it, but I got sidetracked helping my son prepare for the race.

I think this is the gigantic one I used to stare at all the time in Hilo.

A fact about me that you dont know?

Although Im only 16, I had plastic surgery when I was 10. I had _huge_ ears that stuck out like a car with the doors open! And I was called all sorts of names and it was really starting to effect me physiologically.

Also, I have a 16cm scar on my stomach (about 1cm above my belly button) that I got when I was born. My intestines burst... then the scar tissue interferred when I was 9, and I had to go in again...

One of the things the doctors said was that I would probably never get full control of the muscles in my stomach! Ha! I showed them!! :P I can do bellyrolls better than most in my class :P :P

That is awesome! You are a fighter and you made it through some very hardtimes...Congratulations and happy dancing!

I complained today about a cycle race that was unsafe that is to be held in the area. There are no shoulders on the road with steep inclines of 20-50+ foot drops on both sides of the road. I really hope they take that into consideration while planning this race. All I want is safety for the riders...Afterall, these are amateur races, not the Tour de France.
