I've been hanging out on YouTube and have become addicted to make-up tutorial videos! These women have inspired me to 'go bold' with color. So lately, I've been buying pretty eye-shadows that coordinate with my costumes. I've also learned the magic of brushes - lol! They really do make a difference in blending colors to look fierce but natural. As if I needed something else to keep me entertained online! lol!

Well, I have been wondering what I can use for a dance sash type thing. I won't use a neck tie, I abhor those things, so today I bought a pink and black shemagh/Keffiyea. It is no longer pink though, as I have just dyed it red, looks ok so far.

Such a useful piece of cloth, and I have used one in both a sand storm and a snow storm.

I bought gasoline to drive to a town 2 hours north of here to look at a horse.

I bought a five year old bay overo paint gelding with a bald face- not to mention all sorts of equipment to maintain him.

A horse! Shanazel I think you win this game. I could never beat that.

This week I got (my bf bought them for me) some running gear for my ongoing half marathon training: a belt that holds 2 bottles (for electrolytes and water), as well as some electrolyte gels (ew). Used the belt for a long run in the hot weather yesterday and it was great.

Tickets for the Cirque du Soleil's Quidam show, which is now in nearby Alicante - I'm soooo excited! I loved it on tv, and I can't wait to see it live at last

I will get pictures from my daughter and post them. A bald face refers to color. Patches is a bay horse with a few spots of white scattered over his body. These white patches make him a type of horse called a paint (old word was pinto). His legs, mane and tail are black and his face has a very broad white mark that extends from his forehead all the way down to his nose. This kind of broad mark is called bald, from the word piebald, which doesn't mean hairless but rather dark and white. The American bald eagle is not called bald because it has no head feathers, but because it is black and white- piebald.

How's that for too much information?
