Today, I bought a new shisha pipe as my last one lost in a battle with the floor, it smashed. Oh, and I bought some coffee molasses tobacco as it was the first time I had seen that one, and it is very nice.

Shanazel - IMHO: get the horse! Sounds like such fun!

Khanjar - congrats on your sheesha acquisition. I still have one I got a few years ago (despite chipped ceramic tobacco bowl) but never use it anymore after a lung cancer scare I had last year. So now it's just decorative...

This week I bought Eurostar tickets to Brussels, and plane tickets to Frankfurt - but both for work so it's not that fun or exciting...

I don't know whether we will end up with the appy (his girl is trying desperately to figure out a way to keep from having to sell him) but the search for a horse is under way. My daughter works at an Arabian horse farm west of town, but is more interested in quarter horses since she wants to compete in the high school rodeo next fall.

I bought my son a double tank of gas for his truck before we drove into the mountains to go hiking with the dogs. Ooofh. That hurt- paying for the gas, that is, not the hike.

If I suggested that, he'd point out all the horses he already has- under the hood of his truck! He wants to get a motorcycle for going back and forth to work. A horse would be a bit slow...

The thing about living in Wyoming is that no one would even blink an eye if he arrived at work on horseback. Well, okay, people who have lived here under a year might blink, but not the rest of us . No horse yet, but we bought tickets for two nights of the National College Rodeo Finals last week. My daughter is bent on break away roping and barrel racing, so I reckon we are looking for a quarter horse (for those non-horse folks among us, we intend to buy an entire horse- the name quarter horse just acknowledges the blazing speed of this breed over a quarter mile track).

I would certainly make arrangements for you to pasture your horse on the front lawn during class! Seriously, the first time we met our neighbor, he was riding up the road on his horse, Baldy, while playing the fiddle. We knew then we'd moved to the right neighborhood.
