This is another one of those genres where I would love to see a group of dancers all in the same plain black leotard dancing different styles with no sound and we see if we can identify the movement style, beyond the costume, makeup, and music choice. Would be so fascinating to see!!

I bet that would be one heck of a show, and totally worth seeing.
BTW, Meddevi, thanks for your description of GBD - loved it! I'm a baby belly dancer and just learning the basic moves now, but there's something about both Tribal and Goth that keeps pulling at me. At the Rakkasah, I saw some stuff that had me spellbound. There's a power in the performance (when put together properly, of course) that just can't be denied. A.C.
