Since most organized religions have a secret society, how about the BOB. Yasmine

Dear Yasmine,
Perfect!!
I used to belong to a secret society called Society of Perfect People, or SPP. Our motto?? "Perfect isn't what we do; it's how we are". I feel that this would work well as a motto for either the Followers of Cryssanthi Rinpoche, or the BOB as a secret society!
Regards,
A'isha

BOB as secret society? Sounds fun! We practice together in secret (ok I admit I'm not a "real" BOB, but within every religion you have the fanatics and the persons that prey only once a year ) and on a certain date we come out in public to preach against the "sleazy" bellydancers, unexperienced teachers and beginner students who think they're ready to perform professionally.

A'isha, Society of Perfect People? I'm curious what idea is behind that, as it sounds scary...
My motto: Nothing more imperfect than those who think they're perfect.

Dear Moon,
Actually, it was multi-level in meaning.

* It is a facetious comment since in looking at things from a strictly human point of view, nothing is ever really perfect.

* It is a spiritual comment, meaning that we have great faith that everything is going along in perfection at all times, whether or not WE can see the bigger picture, since after all, it is all manifestations of God.

* If you spell it right, it is a "catty" comment (Purrfect").

* It is a commentary on positive self image (You are only as perfect as you feel).

* It is a fashion statement. "Dahling, that purse is too perfect with those shoes!!"

* Add your own meaning here.

* If you don't feel good enough to be a member of the SPP, we feel that you are perfectly justified in not belonging.

Regards,
A'isha

Thanks for explaining. I like "you are only as perfect as you feel". I think I should remind that one for myself.

Hey, since we're going to start a new religion and all who we gonna persecute, ballarinas, tap dancers or modern dancers who dance counter to the music?

Dear Tarik,
And what will we call the persecution movement? I vote for "The Middle Eastern Inquistion"!!

A'isha
