A good many of us in my Wyoming classes (teacher and students alike) have spent lots of time on ranches. When my continuing students saw the video of dancers in cowboy hats and guns, they totally lost it, and I have been resisting their desire to choreograph a western-themed dance for recital ever since. If I ever give in, they'll probably add chaps, boots and spurs.
