Dear Janaki and Mosaic, Suha Azar is a well known Lebanese choreographer. I met her through this forum, but both Aya (Maria) and Mark knew her personally. My experiences with her have been through the written word and some personal correspondences. I have great respect for Suha and she is very supportive of me, even giving me a testimonial on my website and a link to my site on her's. She is intelligent, funny and beautiful, and both Aya and Mark say she is an incredible dancer and great teacher. Hopefully they will tell you stuff about her in more detail. Regards, A'isha |

I am also interested in differences between Lebanese and Turkish, since they are more in the 'dramatic moves' category (as am I). I've had training also with American and Egyptian cabaret and all my teachers have told me I have 'hyperflexibility'...or something like that. Hmmm....maybe that's why I have muscle problems?

She went to Costa Rica for a while (our fellow oriental dancer Priscilla could say more) she is back to Lebanon now.
For me Suha was a fresh morning breeze in oriental dance, connecting the old glory of the dance with new brilliant ideas. Cant say more, as words doesnt justify her as a person, dancer, teacher. ![]() |
