Jillina is an excellent teacher as well as an excellent dancer. The problem is that none of her videos are for complete begginers. Even in her three DVD set, the level #1 DVD isn't geared towards a complete begginer. It's assumed that you know at least the basic moves already. It seems to me that the first level DVD is for an advanced begginer.
For a complete begginer, I recommend a DVD such as Shamira's sensuous workout (either her first one, or her #2 edition) She does a great job of breaking down and explaining basic moves and teaches a few more advanced ones as well. I think you might find Jillina alot easier if you try something really basic first like Shamira, and then go back to Jillina's DVD's after a few months. BTW: Shamira's DVD is called a workout for some reason, but it's really not. It's just an instructional. There's nothing "work-outy" about it.
