Serena Ramzy: Her dancing seems very natural and she has some of the most graceful arms I’ve ever seen. (Ugh, I hate dancers that hold their arms out like bricks ><).
Marina Darowish: She needs to work on control and those expresions (she’s gotten better), but I love her creativity and she always has the best music. Naima Akef: I checked out "The Greats", and she was my favorite. Her big smile, great zills, and grace are wonderful. None of them are flawless, but I think that makes me love them more. ^^ |

I think the reason I love Amani is her arms - lovely, sensual and fluid. I also love her audience interaction. There is something for that response to and from the audience isn't there?

My idol is my sister, she is one of the best dancers I have seen.
From the famous ones I like Soad Hosni. I love her because she danced with so much "ehsas" feeling, although she never had any kind of dance training, not even for the film Zouzou where it was her first and last time dancing in a badlah. She rehearsed on the set a few hours before they started filming and that was it... history was made! ![]() |

yea i think amani has good interaction, she's a natural performer/entertainer.
my knowledge of her is limited to what i have seen on youtube. i feel amani has an unusual take on bd. her speed is maddening. to me it feels a bit manic. i generally dont like that kind of energy in belly dance but there are some russian bd'ers that i have seen that dance very fast that i do like. i guess it all depends on the transitions because when moving fast you can look sloppy or it can be a display of your agility. and in a few clips i think amani looks a bit sloppy. i will have to watch some more of her youtube videos. i do love her arms. |
