I'm not sure if Morocco, at the end, is disdainful of fusion in general, with which of course I would disagree, or of fusion done by dancers of other styles who have insufficient training in belly dance, an attitude I would of course agree with. One point that has come up again and again on this website, and seems to be generally accepted, is that for fusion to work the choreographer needs to have years of training in all the styles being fused.

Nice to hear Rachel give her props to Suhaila. It was fun, from time to time, to be in one of Suhaila's weekly classes, turn around and see Rachel in the back line, keeping a low profile and doing her work. And whether or not you like her stuff, she is obviously a very hard worker with a professional attitude.

Finally, I'm hoping to fit in a 4 hour Jillina workshop in a couple of weeks, here in LaLa Land. What fun!
