LOL, No, I'm going to be brave and make mine in a red snakeskin type fabric. I've cut out the lengths of fabric; just need to work out the length of each piece before sewing them together. Tomorrow is set aside for sewing. And if it works, yes, pictures.

Oh, and Miss Shimmy, I was poking on ebay and saw these: "ATS Tribal Belt" Different again, but rather lovely... (and maybe easier to make, too...?)

Desideria, my first disaster wasn't with a costume or belt, ( I am a pro costume maker and a crafter, ) it was with a head cover, I use a hair piece and put a coin scarf around I was spining and suddenly the head cover hair and all went around and landed in the floor, fortunately I was practicing at home, all because I was crazy with a new C.d and wanted to go Tribal, since then I had learned that things of that nature are not for me, I can balance my Tray, my sword and Shamadan with just my hair done in a more natural way, Peaceout. I checked out the corset belts and they're incredible! They don't look hard, so I think I'll give one a try. I have to make a Star Trek dress for Halloween and then I'm restricting my sewing and crafting time/money to bellydance-the most awesome addiction ever.

Hmm. If I made a belt I'd be too tempted to put bows on it, so I doubt that would turn out well, haha.
