Hey thanks everyone for all the great links! I swear I'm just shopping for myself and not working for any of these sites It occured to me that my innocently intended post could be construed as a plug for merchandise! I loved the pics and ended up making a pair of my own rhinestone pants (because I needed instant gratification, darn it!). I'll post a pic once I take one

Hi, I have a pair of these trousers, they are black with gold studs and they are sooo comfy! I got them from Welcome to Little Blue Genie.com.
Also, The Belly Dance Shop - Costumes, Hip Scarves, Veils... has some really good beaded tops that say "kiss my shimmy"

I love the tops, but it looks like they don't have XL otherwise I'd be buying a couple of them. "Kiss my shimmy & Habibi" would be good for starters.... Oh well never mind. I save some money

I 'm surprised they don't stock XL as most of the very nice gear is Sharifwear and they do XL and XXL!

If I'm not mistaken, the Sharifwear tops that say "belly dancer", "habibi", and other phrases run small. A classmate of mine bought an XS and it's too small for her. My classmate is about 5'5" tall and weighs about 95 pounds. She's REALLY tiny.

Some of those Sharifwear tops are one size. They stretch to fit, but I guess they must have limits to stretch both ways

My tiny classmate must have gotten the one size, although there are several girls in my class that have those tops and they seem to fit nicely.

All of my classmates are different sizes, but I don't think any of them are an extra large. I'll pay closer attention next time.

I do like the tops, but I'm hard to fit, so they scare me a bit.

I tried a couple of their skirts and the sizing seemed big . Not often I fit into anything calling itself medium, and they are nice and long. Had to buy invisible undies though, talk about VPL
