I haven't been in the forum for a while ( I was too long in Greece and had no Internet access) and I discovered this thread just now. It is hilarious

I remember the old thread, but this one is even better

By the way, if you want to see really ugly and weird costumes, go to Cairo! I was shocked by some costumes I saw there on belly dancers (even on some famous ones). Believe me, it is not only Dina who wears strange costumes. The new Egyptian costume fashion is just weird

It has nothing to do with the wonderful, rich and elegant costumes of the Nagwa Fouad and Fifi Abdo time, or the even older ones from Taheya Karioka, Samia Gamal, Naima Akef (which we know unfortunately only in black and white. Imagine those costume dreams in colour!)

Well, I don't have a pic of it (yet), but I think I might win first prize for the ugliest costume worn while bellydancing: I wore a cell phone costume at work today, and when I shimmied, I just looked like a giant cell phone in "vibrate" mode...
