I can see it now - sequinned kiwi strategically placed on each bra cup, and a slightly bigger one (got to balance the design) on the crotch. But what tasteful antipodean motif for the behind...?

Sequined kiwis on the cups, and centre front of skirt with the little rounded bottom of said Kiwi and its spindly legs on the back or a couple of the silver ferns might make nice sequined deco'sThe body of the costume has to be black

Aussie can contribute a few snakes crawling around the neck as straps, and a red back spider centre of each cup, with a cute koala centre front skirt and a wombat's rear end on the back of the skirt.... all this on green and gold ( read ugly yellow) fabric - Blerrrrkkk!

Not being rude to all you lovely American ladies/gents, but I honestly think that costume is ugly, I think flags or attempts at flags as BD costumes is just plain freaky & weird.
No offense taken: I think we are all probably just as appalled as everyone else, if not more so. Love the fauna theme for the down under costume. The wombat's rear end is a particularly nice touch.

Talking of the Stars and Stripes, this is the costume that I saw Liberace wearing in a documentary last week:

Bwaaaahaaa haaa That's cheered up my day! Is there anything that isn't appalling about that Liberace outfit? Truly a work of genius to have so much going so wrong.

That kiwi bedlah is sounding really cute now! Love rear view kiwis for the back.

Sadly, that photo doesn't show quite *how* sparkly the sequinned shoes, skintight shorts and strands of fringeing were - and you can't see him high-kicking and twirling his baton!

I can never hear the song "Ghawazee Sombat" with out having a visual of Ghawazee Wombats dancing about and shaking their nubby little tails.

I just posted about my obsession about wombats on the 'one new thing about you' thread in 'games and prizes', so cannot believe that there is actually a discussion about wombats happening in this forum!!!

A wombat could only improve this bra- it looks like a fuschia owl face to me.

That bra makes my eyes go crossed!

And doesn't everything go better with a wombat?

That, and kumquat, are some favorite words of mine. !
