I'm always terrified of costumes that have "one size fits all" bras.

OK new catagory UCBDC (Uber Crap BD Costumes)
I couldn't believe the second lovingly constructed explosion in an upholstery class....

I love it when people say professionally made.

When I made bridesmaids dresses for my friend's wedding she was brazenly telling their mums I was a professional, but carefully missing out the fact that I wasn't a professional dressmaker. (That's lawyers for you )

Speaking of lawyers, I went to see "Bee Movie" today. There's a scene in which a cow is seeking legal advice and she's passed over to a mosquito in the lawyer's office. The cow says: "He's a lawyer?" and the mosquito replies "Ma'am, I was already a bloodsucking parasite, all I needed was a briefcase!"

That was hilarious!

... or this off the same site

Am I just seeing it wrong or is the key bit of the skirt totally see through? maybe that little band of sequins is supposed to cover your embarrassment.... <shakes head in disbelief...>

Yuk! I think the whole skirt is totally see through. The key bit just appears to be the only see through part because of the white model-doll having cut-off-legs.

Not being rude to all you lovely American ladies/gents, but I honestly think that costume is ugly, I think flags or attempts at flags as BD costumes is just plain freaky & weird.

Can you imagine a green & gold costume with a kangaroo on it! yikes! or the trad flag of red/white/blue southern cross with stars, nope, not for me, I am not that much of patriot. Now if the flag was a pretty colour with lots of sequins and crystals, then I may consider, but it would have to be some swirly design, absolutely no kangas/koalas or NZ Kiwis ( as much as I love that cute little bird
