It's a harem costume according to ebay. Can you imagine the sultan laughing his *** off when his harem girls would wear that?

What? You all don't think that button bra is cute as a -

(Never mind. That pun is too bad for even me.)

The gold and red one legged thing looks like the result of a serious accident between Valeria Messalina, a gladiator, and a roller derby queen.

Button bra - used when dancing for the local sewing/quilting guild?

Colorful set - used when dancing at the hot air balloon festival? (lots of colorful balloons)

One-legged - used when dancing at the local Trekkie convention while awaiting transport from Scotty? (Beam me up!)

Mrs. Claus outfit - used when dancing through a mall in an attempt to get free coffee because coffee shop employees think you are part of the holiday "Pictures with Santa" display?

Mask - used when dancing while wearing any of the above?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~
On a serious note:
It's sad that we don't know the story behind some of the costumes. I'm sure that some of those stories are absolutely priceless.
I'm enough of a smart-alec (and a geek) that I could make a themed costume out of old computer parts.
....a little CAT5 cable, some old motherboards, NICS, Vidcards, a couple of dead processors, some blue led's etc. etc......
