I think without the fabric fringe it could be sweet, albeit east Indian in flavor.

This one can be saved: the fringe needs to be redone and a bra needs to be build in. I think this costume needs a different color fringe, black is too harsh. Red fringe will look good.

But why place a fringe of any sort there...as I saw a on UK dancer's costume recently... pardon my French, as they say...a M**ge fringe
In fat the more I look at it...It is a nice costume if you imagine away the fringe.

The dancer I saw was not to be forgiven as she had paid a professional costumier for the item and not given a thought to what impression it might give. Again in this instance re-position the fringe and.... nice costume!

Hey now...this is taken from someone's personal website. And I happen to know her. At least if you're going to be so cruel please disguise the face. Perhaps you should find something more constructive to do then troll peoples websites to make fun...there is enough material on e-bay to go around.

Go ahead, I'm wearing flame retardant.

No one will flame you for making a protest, Tabitha. If you read the comments about the costume, they were overall positive with some suggestions for alterations that might improve what most people think is an nice costume with a couple of problems. No one is critisizing the woman wearing the costume, but she might be well advised to make a few changes as suggested before wearing it again.

If a website is accessible by anyone with a computer and internet, it is a public website and open to comment both positive and negative. Famous people deal with it all the time; when a person posts herself or himself online, he or she becomes a minor celebrity, which entails giving up a certain amount of privacy in return for whatever benefits they get from internet exposure.

The internet is not a private venue - like Shanazel I think most of our comments included positives that might help make it nicer.

Of course we should not make fun of people themselves, but that wasn't happening here as far as I know (I personally like the costume, but it needs a few changes). Strange thing though: I never heard anyone complaining when people make comments on Dina's costumes!

Ok ok, sorry. I know the internet is absolutely not a privat place, but this time it felt different and more nasty then laughing at the horrible costumes people try to sell us.

As for Dina, here is the difference: I'm pretty sure she KNOWS some of her costumes are ugly/wierd/over-the-top (lol). That's why she wears them, to create a buzz.
