Do you have a favorite on-line resource for bd costumes?
I am currently looking for a double split skirt costume with a beaded belt (is there a proper name for this costume?) I cannot find one anywhere on line! Is it better for me to bring an example for the skirt into my seamstress and have her sew one? Help!! |

Probably the store I like the best is Belly Dance Costumes | Belly Dance Store.com: Designer Egyptian Costumes at Affordable Prices you may even find a skirt there that you like.

I enjoy browsing through Dahlal Internationale - I may never buy anything from there, but it's fun looking & i do get inspiration!

I've only ordered online from Isis Exchange and Bella Costumes. The costumes from Isis Exchange are good workhorses but you have to wait a long time...I was expecting to get my costume within two months but it was closer to four. But I did get myself a nice Turkish workhorse that I can use at gigs where I don't want to take my high end costumes!
If you're planning on taking your dance career to a more professional level and have the funds to afford a high-end costume, I recommend Bella! My order took less than six weeks and the fit is amazing! And she doesn't hold back on the fringe or the crystals. |
