they work really well, but you need to make sure you don't press on the nail when using them to prevent gouging the nail underneath the cuticle. Using a cuticle oil before hand and softening them makes life much easier.

I've used those before but I prefer to use an orange stick with some cuticle cream.

I actually use finger nail clippers. After pushing the cuticle back I clip from one end to the other. I like it better than the V stick because there is less chance of ripping the cuticle or going to deep.

you can actually leave a permenant dent in the nail which will need to grow out if you gouge too deep.

I know this doesn't really say much, but my step mum bought one of these recently, and I have no idea what they do O.o I don't actually know which part of my nail is the cuticle :o
