I am soon going to have a large sebacious cyst removed from the back of my head. It is about 1 inch across (2.5cm) so there will be quite a large hole shave in my hairstyle. i currently wear it long in the front , fringe in my eyes , longish on top and short round ears and back, but I am obviously going to have to go very short, and /or wear something on my head. suggestions please

How about trying out a fall? I know several dancers who wear these while performing with great results. And not as hot as a wig....

You have several options til your hair grows back!
You can wear a fall, you can also buy lighter clip-on extensions! You can also look VERY exotic by tying a sparkly scarf around your head...this can be anything from chiffon with sequins to beaded caps! A LARGE WIDE headband will also hug the back of your head and may cover... I wish you a speedy healing! Gia |

I recently had something similar done - I had a little square inch of hair shaved off so they could poke around with some kind of biopsy. My sister is a whizz with hair, and cut my hair from being long to being in a shoulder length style. Then she took a weft of human hair and glued it to my head with that funny extension glue. No one is any the wiser!
Good luck, xxx |

Hi Jenc,
Sounds like your hair will be back in no time at all. If you wear your hair short generally then you are only talking about one month max to cover the area. I am sure everything will be fine in no time at all. Keep us posted about how it goes and I am wishing you well. Caroline x |
