Well after all that angst, apparently they don't shave now so I only have 2 stitches in back of my head.

The thing that came out looked like a largeish broad bean pod, then a lot of thick yellow stuff that was inside YUK!!
And now I will be able to lean my head back against headboard on bed again.

How did the surgury go?

Thanks for your concern
Well i wouldn't call it surgery exactly. It was local anasthetic and I only had 2 stitiches in the end and didn't get my head shaved, so it was nowhere as bad as I thought. for a description of the yucky stuff look back a couple of posts.
