Thought this might be a good place for this question:

I do the Curly Girl thing and love it...but what do you do to make your hair not bed-head on the days you don't do that conditioner shampoo thing? I love my hair but I wish it would be not frizzy...

It depends on what kind of curls you have.
There is a cool site with tips for gals like us: Naturallycurly.com: Where curls come to life!
You can see what curl you have on page: Naturallycurly.com: Where curls come to life!
I am a 3B I think.

One thing that I have been doing for years now is: I NEVER use any Shampoo.
I only use TreSemme Conditioner (3min soak, then wash out).
I have heard that shampoo is bad for curly hair as it is mostly dry and in need of constant moisture. Shampoo strips off all the goodness and protective oil layers.
My hair is still nice and clean and much healthier than before. I don't understand why shampoo ads always advertise 'squeeky clean hair that squeeks when you pull it through your fingers...)? I've heard your hair shouldn't make that sound if it has protective layers...

Anyway I am getting carried away. All I normally do is condition, dry (no hairdryer!) and untangle with my fingers. Two hands full of mousse (Pantene) at the end and a bit of head-banging to heavy metal (well, you can leave that out )

Oh and I only wash every3-4 days cos my hair looks best after a day or so.
I use mousse every day and never brush my hair... Hope that helps!

TreSemme is awesome. I have heard the same bad things about this product, and have never used it because of that, until recently. I ran out of shampoo and conditioner, and since my boyfriend was out he picked some up for me. He had no idea that I didn't use TreSemme, and picked out the shampoo and conditioner according to my hair type. After one wash my hair felt like I just came out of the salon. I love it!!!!
I went on the web site. Thanks for sharing. I am a 3B The actress under Nicole.(don't know her name)

Yeah, I do all that (no shampoo, blah blah) already. I wanted to know what you do on the days you DON'T do that part. Like waking up with bed head. Do you just drag your fingers through it still? I find it is very frizzy on top...

I have a combination of 3C and 4A hair - very tight curls and kinks. I have my hair in Sisterlocks, which makes the curl pattern more noticeable.
