You've got me all excited now to try out the tricks
![]() What I've done lately is use coffee powder as a scrub. It is a good exfoliator, doesn't dry the skin and you'll have a tiny scent of coffee around you for the whole night after that (looove the smell of coffee, can't stand the taste of it)

![]() I like almond oil for a makeup remover and all-around moisturizer. Wet baking soda for a gentle exfoliant, and for using with hydrogen peroxide for brushing my teeth. And pure shea butter for a moisturizer that doesn't get sucked away in the dry climate I live on. My husband is sensitive to odors so most of my stuff has to be fragrance-free.

Another site that has great natural recipes is From Nature With Love. This is one of my favorite sites.

I've used kitchen ingredients for years as natural exfoliants and masks, just this morning I made a body scrub using ground rock salt mixed with coconut oil (not too much oil) simply rub and rinse, my skin feels lovely and smooth. I've also used milk and sugar as a body scrub. Coconut oil is great for dry hair too. other favourites are a honey face mask, after washing massage honey preferably manuka, (which is teatree honey) or any good bush honey directly onto face until it gets really sticky and tacky, leave for 5 minutes and wash off. avacado used in the same way is very nourishing for the face. ground rolled oats and water make a gentle exfoliant. Pawpaw ointment as a lip balm is amazing. Aloe vera gel straight from the plant is great for sunburn, it looks gooey but smooths on well, dries nicely and has no smell.
