I support what so many have mentioned - get a complete check-up / blood panel done and discuss this with your doctor.
I've been "tired" for many, many years. At first, I shrugged it off as too much partying (military life, you know it goes *shrug*), then I thought I was just doing too much and not sleeping enough, then I put it down to getting older, yada, yada..... A few years ago, I started having trouble staying awake while driving home from work and over the last year, I began having trouble staying awake on the way TO work. I went in for my annual physical recently and, at the very end, just kinda casually threw out that I was more tired than usual all the time. Long story short, I'm wicked anemic - my iron level registered a 23 (should be ~100) - and I have sleep apnea (which can wreak all kinds of havoc on a person and, worst case, actually be fatal). I was shocked. As you can imagine, my doc was not all that happy with me, either, but the situation had crept up on me so slowly, I had no idea how bad it actually was. Not trying to scare you, by any means, just illustrating - it's absolutely NOT normal to be tired all the time. God bless you! I hope you resolve this and feel better very, very soon! Being constantly exhausted is so NOT fun. ![]() A.C.
