Oh, my dear Reen, you have been so sweet to me, I really want to help.... I totally agee with Lydia, you need to force yourself to get out of the house and do some activity.
Just like you, I canīt work out by myself, that is why, Iīve always been member of a gym, and I always attend the directed classes. I look for classes that are fun, that motivate me, like kick boxing, taebo, spinning an when I feel I donīt have the energy for those, I go to the dance class, where we do a little bit of merengue, salsa, reggaeton, and burn calories while having fun. Start slowly, maybe the first day you can do half the class, and then you will see how you will have more and more energies and feel great ![]() |

Thank you girls for all your answers! WOW I really did not expect such responce!!!! *hugs everyone*
I had a head scan and was told that on the right side of the head the blood vessels are in "spasm" and do not allow gtood blood flow (that also explains why I cant see well with my right eye). I had it for years now and apartr from vitamin course there is not much they can do.... On top of that I have been depressed for several years.... Now I am much much better (I get ocassional mood swings) and I have not taken any medication, which is a good thing, but as Charity mentioned depression can add to lack of evergy! I do try to eat on time and healthy food- lots of veggies and fruit and drink lots of herbal teas and juices! Also take vitamins, but some days... gees, I just cant wake up!! LOL Thank you everyone for being so sweet to me!!!! *hug*

RB, you sound like a good candidate for certified alternative treatment -- acupuncture, aryuveda, or something like that. Are there any reputable, licensed pratitioners in your area that you know of?

oh Reen.Blom :-( how sad !!!
I definately agree with Kharmine (lol, can you tell we're into alternative medicines !!) always look for a licensed practitioner when dealing with acupunture, because, would you believe, these guys are allowed to jab needles into you and not be trained in the art !! Acupunture can treat many ailments by helping to unblock the flow of energy (ch i) .. there are many reasons to an acupuntureist why blood would be caught up in the head (or elsewhere) and I wouldn't be surprised if you got needles in your butt to treat this ... !!! lol, just joking haha, although true at the same time :-) another treatment that I love is the reflexolagy, massageing the of the mendirine point flows of the bodies organs in the feet, having a foot massage before an acupunture treatment can be very helpful .. If you are unsure of these, read up on them, open your mind to them, together with western medicine they are wonders :-) |

Where are you living Reen( I hope you don't mind me asking but I am an ex Sa!)
I lived in the bush for many years and know how it feels to be isolated. Try massage and varying your diet. If your ilness had some respiratory links it may be that you are not really over it. It has taken me the better part of 6 months to get over a respiratory infection and then I went and got a cold last week - i'm back to feeling run over by a buldozer. I also find if I drink my "magic shake"in the morning instead of cereal or eggs etc I have heaps more energy and it helped depression. Its only milk, yogurt, fruit and protein powder with a bit of honey or molasses and a teaspoon of minerals, but boy does it work!! I can imafgine how you comunicate with the puppies when you discovered your tomato plants!LOL |

Have you ever had your thyroid levels checked? Not just the actual thyroid hormone circulating, but a complete thyroid panel?
I have been diagnosed as low thyroid for about 5 years now, and symptomatic for about 4 years before that. My symptoms are similar to yours when my levels are low. I take medication and I can tell you the difference is night and day! I often wonder how many people who are on antidepressants are actually low thyroid without being diagnosed. I can attest that being hypothyroid can make you depressed.
