The new L'Oreal HIP cream liners in pots are AMAZING. I have the black and the eggplant one. Love 'em! Worked out in them and they were the only bit of my makeup that didn't run. I've turned some other girls onto them too. They barely came off any after a shower/washing my face, so a remover (you can use plain baby oil) is necessary to completely get them off.

Carole Jackson Colors You're right, Suheir; some women don't have any idea what colors are best suited for them, and don't know how to coordinate colors. For some, this is a rather daunting task, especially if they had mothers that didn't teach them how to use cosmetics well (because their mothers didn't know how to use them, either). Some women also have bad experiences with "consultants" at cosmetic counters, usually because the "consultant" wasn't trained properly, and has no idea herself how to apply makeup correctly; she just slaps it on, and sells cosmetics to customers without really caring about whether the product her customer purchases looks good on them or not. Or else, the consultant might know how to instinctively choose the right colors for herself, but recommends her colors to all her clients, whether it looks good on them, or not. Sorry, this is kind of a sore spot with me, because I think anyone in the "consulting" business ought to truly care about their clientele, instead of just making a sale. Customers appreciate honesty. |

Salome, you were right. The MAC liners are fabulous!!!
I am very proud of myself, I spent less than $50 at the MAC counter tonight. I will have to go back though, I don't believe I've ever seen such rich beautiful colors in eyeshadows before!! I have officially become a MAC Ho. ![]()

I don't know if MAC is an American brand or not...but if you google MAC the official website should come up for you.
The colors on the website do not remotely do justice to the richness and texture of the colors in person.
