Why does the mind's eye image of self never match the mirror?

I have more problems with the mirror image not matching the photographs. I think I've become mirror-blind.

Aww, come on girls! Cheer up!

Think of it like this, something is better than nothing, and give your self one goal for the day.

My goal is always to beat the pevious day's number of steps on the stepper by at leats 100 hundred, then I record it and try and beat it the next day.

So one day you might think 'My goal is to do at least 5 crunches, 5 times today'

Or... 'I'm going to put on a bit of music and just dane and have fun' My and my sister do this. We just put on a bit of Clubland 11 and dance and just enjoy oursens.

Also did you know 30 minutes of sex supposedly burns 150 cals? Thats a good enough reason if any

And drink water. It's easier than you initially think it will be, and soon you can get through bottles of the stuff each day.

Well, I'm not, and I'd sure better get after it. X-rays came back showing arthritis in both knees and all this "more to love" I'm hauling around is not doing those poor joints any good. Alas, gone are the days when I could drop twenty pounds in five weeks or go from rocking chair to top speed in under thirty seconds. Now I'm lucky to get out of the rocker in under thirty seconds, and that's if I don't trip over a cat.

Oh, well. Another decade, another challenge. I'm sure this one is nothing to those I'll face in another ten years, but sufficient unto the day are the aches and pains thereof.

I get a box of veggies...... organic.... straight from the farm.... but they deliver to one or two locations per neighborhood... & you have to go to THAT house to pick it up.... this year for me it is a good 40 min walk round trip......
wheee.......... esp. with one or two 7 year old boyz on bikes..... run mamma run!!!!
I try to walk.... but now that school has started again... & my pick up day is on a day I teach.... have to drive
hope your tooth thing recovers nicely ms S..... howz Callenetics/ the rest of your practice????
... I have gotten a bit (aLOT) lazy over summer.... need to shake it.... damn.....
& meanwhile.... what to wear tonite.... plus need to cut a song & do new /easy choreo. for new class.....

An improving body image has led me to get lazy in my efforts to eat healthier and exercise more...but now I think I need to get back on it...I feel like I've just been polluting my body with junk...and I hope some exercise and better eating will improve my mood which has been really out of control the last few days...

I read somewhere (I think some celebrity commently on how she kept in shape) that the trick to keeping it up was to never get complacent about the way you look.... once you are happy w/ yourself... you sort of slack off.....
sad, but maybe true... I know I have had this problem!!!!
