Welcome bellymummy! I hope to see lots of reports from you here!

I skipped yesterday for some reason... but I did excersize the day before.... I suppose today is the time to pick it up again!

Hi, all, it's been a while since I posted! My schedule's become so full, I can't get online as much as I once did. (Which is both great, and kinda frustrating, you know?)

I am still working out and dancing as per my plan, but I'm disappointed to report that, despite my best efforts, I've lost only a single pound in the last three weeks. *sniff*

Still, that's better than nothing, right? Only 20 more to go!

Default hello!

Hello girls! How are you doing? Well it's been seven weeks since I sarted to "close my mouth" and control what I eat. I don't know how much I've lost, but I feel better and there is a little space between my belly and my pants haha!...
Look at what I've found on youtube:
YouTube - DEBBIE DRAKE SHOW

It's The Debbie Drake SHow, a show from the sixties (I 'm not sure) my mom used to watch, she even has the book with all the exercices. It looks "a little bit" old but I think it's not so bad.

Well, go on girls, we'll make it!!!!

Boussu!

Paula

Default Patience!!! And - WHOOT - hit the 30 pound mark!

I guess I should learn to just shelve the impatience and keep on keeping on..... in the last three days, the scale has dropped down to 158!! Whoot!!! That's THIRTY pounds I've lost! Yip, yip, yippee!!!

Can I tell you ladies what I've done to celebrate? As you can imagine, my clothes don't fit quite as well as they once did (who am I kidding, they're falling off me!!), so.... I went and bought some new outfits! Yep, but NOT *cough* for work, no, for something much more important - dancing!

I am now the proud owner of a pair of sexy black Geisha Moth Lace-up pants and a matching Hidden Bunny top, plus two more tops (a Black Wholey HB and a Rusty Gate Hb) AND a black Silver Ridges AEIOU are on the way. I also bought a beautiful, luscious, matching Espresso Brown Twist Top and Sash Pants from Melodia!!! Unfortunately, I have to exchange them 'cause the top is WAYYYY too tight and the pants are too large and too long, but, still!!!!

Doing the happy dance...

congrats auntie!!! welcome mummy!!!! hi reen!!!
I have been a slug.... no actually quite active...so a PIG!!!!
luckily have GAINED NO weight... but no loss either
oh well... keep up the inspiration... as I have been MORE active
thanks to you all!!!! (I actually did a LITTLE PERSONAL dancing (teach a lot, so always it is about classes....) Choreo'd a new veil dance for my troupe...
have been gardening.. (wheeee my OTHER most PASSIONATE thing... 2nd only to belly dance!!)

so KEEP on letting us know howz it going w/ the shaping ups!!!!

oh & good news/bad news.... I had to go thru a mini physical for my life insurance... (& the night before I danced at a FAB (& expensive!!!) french restaurant (their Moroccan Night) so not only did they pay us... but they fed us this IN-F'ing-credible 5 course meal (WITH all the wine pairings...AND dessert) OMG.... HOW could I say NO??????)... so of COURSE the next day... for my physical, I weigh 6 POUNDS MORE than my already max. eeeeeekkk
thinking I am going to have to pay MORE PER month.... but yesterday, I got the policy... & SOMEHOW, I qualified for SUPER PREFERRED rate... (which means I am in better health than I should be....) this is ALL based on height/weight plus blood/urine tests.... they do NOT care how active you are/etc....
so OF course this is GREAT news (not only to be healthy... but I get to pay less too!!!!).... but now of course I am like ..."wheee... I am SUPER healthy... where is the REST of the PIZZA.... pass the wine!!!! MEANWHILE>>> my NORMAL clothes (& costumes!) STILL do not fit... and they did only ONE year ago... so it is NOT like I want to look like I did when I was 20.. or 30... or EVEN 35.....
ok... maybe I should get off my ever expanding ass & go DANCE!!!
OXOXOX

I had my sleep study / CPAP fitting last night. It wasn't as much of a nightmare as it was the first time (at least they listened to my complaints and ensured I was warm from the moment I arrived). Sadly, I do NOT feel any bit better today than I did yesterday (I could lay my head down on my desk and go to sleep this very moment), but my head seems to be clearer; the fog I usually have to think through is thinner today. I'm guessing it'll take time to reverse the effects of years and years of REM deprivation. *shrug*

At least we successfully determined the efficacy and necessary setting of the CPAP equipment.

Hi! My name is Anke. I am on a mission to become slim and toned by dancing, gymming, eating healthy and believing in myself! It seems this thread has been dormant for a while...

Anyone feel like getting BACK ON THE WAGON???

Come on ladies, I'm sure there's more than a few of us who need support, I know I do. Let's do this together!
