Amulya, I totally agree with you! But sometimes I just can't resist caking on the volumizing mousse I love having poofy hair! I think I'll be getting a haircut soon, and it's gonna require lots of hairspray, so that's not so good. But at least now I know the baking soda trick

I still am a firm believer that a good shampoo (good = from the salon) is worth the investment 10 times over. It's expensive, but you don't need to use as much, and to actually get my hair to behave it's worth it! Plus I've never had a problem with buildup, despite never allowing my hair to dry 'naked'.

Please Salome, you have such beautiful glossy locks, please please please don't use baking powder on them!

My hair is too long to style it anyway. I just make waves and it stayes that way, quite easy and it always looks good.
