It's natural, let your hair do it's thing, it is part of your natural self, and the dance, I hope that also is part of your natural self.
I can understand your concerns about hair that refuses to be controlled, mine is the same, it is fine when it is wet, but drying brings curls and awkwardness. Combing, forget it, as soon as it is combed, it reverts back to au natrel, basically the mess it started in. Mine, I just let it grow and do it's own thing, though on occaisions where I need some control, I comb olive oil into it. That makes it sleek and dark and controllable, but often too controllable. I use the product ' Organic Root stimulator' which I have found in it's various guises, is best for my hair.
