Hey, who knows, maybe its a new project to emerge from the forums! LOL ( I nominate Lydia Sedonia Salome and Aisha (dont forget about Maria Aya and Chrysanthi and of course Tarik) )
Anyhow, who of BD celebrities would you include and what it should be like to truely represent BD on stage? (remembering all the complaints about BDSS show!)

Thanks for the nomination!! It is great to be included. I do not think the dance needs to be uplifted in any way. I do not think that concert stages really do the dance justice either visually or emotionally, but I do like a list of good dancers!!
For Egyptian-Randa
For Turkish- Sema Yildiz
For Lebanese- Nabila from Lebanon
For American Cabaret- Cassandra Shore
For American Tribal- Carolina Nerriccio
For Tribal Fusion- Kendra Searles who lives in Spokane
For Ballet Fusion- Sabbah who works with the BDSS
No good show features just belly dancer after belly dancer, so I would include the following as folkloric stuff.
For Ghawazi- Whoever is left of the Banat Mazin
For Ouled Nail-Aisha Ali
For Guedra- Morocco
For Chiftetelli- Anyone Aya recommends!
For Turkish Roman- Reyhan (the Rom dancer not the belly dancer.)
For Khaliji- May I modestly nominate myself since I can't think of any Saudi or Gulf women who would do the dance in public? I can perform and teach three separate distinct styles and teach enough in a matter of hours so that people can successfully dance background for me.
For Kowliya- Mark Balahadia
For Skits-Any group of reasonably well trained dancers who can also act.
For Malaya dance- Ahava from No. Cal.
For Greek folkloric dance- Nick Poppadopoulis who is a hot Greek American guy
that I have had the pleasure of working with in the past.
For Egyptian Shaabi- Mark Basyouni. He is an Alexandrian who now lives here and is NOT a professional dancer, but he is fabulous!!
For Tunisian- Habibah from someplace in the Eastern U.S.
Anyway, I like a well rounded show and I think this would be one.
Regards,
A'isha
