The night we did was not fusion, it was half Irish/celt and half Arab.
By the way, various places in Cairo celebrate St Patricks day and I have had a fantastic time dancing to an Irish band interspersed with an Arabic music DJ at one of Cairos great music venues.

Musicians from different cultures love to jam, what from I've seen. My local Irish Centre often features Irish/other European/African/Arab/whatever musicians playing together.
