Worst: "Heh, I bet your boyfriend likes it that you've spent so many years learning the belly dance seduction technique." I didn't even know how to react to this. I think I just walked away. Has anyone else ever heard of the "belly dance seduction technique?"
Best: (From a little girl who came running up to me after a performance): "Are you a princess?" Compliments from children always mean a lot to me, they are usually pretty unbiased. I saw this little girl and her group of friends trying to belly dance after my performance. Kids tend to be my favorite audience members.
