Worst: At a dance event a fellow dancer came up to me and gushed over my dancer friend in front of me and everyone in the room, and then turned to me and said, "Oh yeah, you were good too." in a dismissive tone. It hit hard because I knew I wasn't "on" that night and had trouble with my props.
Best: After a free Christmas recital in a nursing home a man over 100 years old said my Turkish style dance brought back wonderful memories of being stationed in Turkey and how much he loved the country and it's people. He talked my ear off for over half and hour!
